Dr. Carol Harkrader, MD, a native of Fairfax County, received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and licensed in Virginia, she has been in private practice in Loudoun County since 1988.
A member of the American Psychiatric Association since 1987, Dr. Harkrader was recognized as a Fellow in 2003. She is also a member of the Association of Women Psychiatrists and since 2006 has been listed as one of America's Top Psychiatrists by the Consumers Research Council.
John Lindsey is a Master's level clinician, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), and certified substance abuse counselor (CSAC) specializing in addiction disorders. Born outside of Oakland, California, Mr. Lindsey received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts at Magdalen College outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Following his undergraduate studies, he moved to Washington, DC, where he attended Catholic University of America and received a Master's Degree in Social Work.
After graduating, he completed his clinical residencies at the Clifton T. Perkins Forensic Hospital in Jessup, Maryland, and the National Rehabilitation in Washington, DC. He was also the Manager of Chemical Dependency at Inova LAMPS in Leesburg, VA from 2006 to 2008.
